Marmaverken IFK's defense didn't have a chance, in the 19th minute, when Virgiliu Doroftei scored to the left of an out of position Bernt Knutsson, making the score, 3-0. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Grêmio FBPA's goalkeeper Andréas Linquist, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Marmaverken IFK's Bernt Knutsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Virgiliu Doroftei in the 24th minute of play. Grêmio FBPA were awarded a corner in the 25th minute after Marmaverken IFK's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Stayko Vakareliyski took the corner. The crowd rose to their feet as Virgiliu Doroftei kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Bernt Knutsson. That made the score 4-0 in the 29 minute of play. Bernt Knutsson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Virgiliu Doroftei's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. In the 35th minute, Grêmio FBPA's Virgiliu Doroftei ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Bernt Knutsson. Bernt Knutsson yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 5-0. With a little luck, Marmaverken IFK's Bernt Knutsson got control of the ball when Virgiliu Doroftei tried to sneak it across the goal line. Grêmio FBPA's Geovanildo Zago managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Christoffer Lenberg in the 40 minute of the game. Bernt Knutsson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Virgiliu Doroftei went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. Af the end of the first half the score was 6-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Virgiliu Doroftei made a kick off. After having played for 55 minutes, Manfredo Pombal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Grêmio FBPA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Manfredo Pombal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 62 minutes into the game, Christoffer Lenberg threw the ball into play from the sideline. Grêmio FBPA's Geovanildo Zago quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Virgiliu Doroftei recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Virgiliu Doroftei sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Bernt Knutsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Virgiliu Doroftei, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. In the 68th minute, Virgiliu Doroftei ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bernt Knutsson was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-0. Bernt Knutsson came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Grêmio FBPA's Virgiliu Doroftei. But to his dismay, Virgiliu Doroftei quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 9-0. In the 75th minute, Virgiliu Doroftei made a precise shot to the right of Bernt Knutsson. Marmaverken IFK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 10-0. In the 81st minute, Christoffer Lenberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 82 minutes into the match, Marmaverken IFK's goal looked a bit too open when Virgiliu Doroftei came free, but Bernt Knutsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 85 minutes, Virgiliu Doroftei made it 11-0 with a short kick to the right side.
