Fynn John didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Badaz Kibøl went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. A collision led to FC Szczucin getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Iwo Kilar hit a great ball. Olívio França could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Iwan Swoboda made a huge save. In the 20th minute, Edmund Walentowicz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 22 minutes into the match, FC Szczucin's goal looked a bit too open when César de Queiroz came free, but Iwan Swoboda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Atlético Mineiro's Fynn John played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arslan Sadreddin in the 24th minute of play. In the 24th minute, Tomé Brasil hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 27th minute of the match, César de Queiroz tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Iwan Swoboda saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 30th minute, César de Queiroz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Atlético Mineiro fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Iwan Swoboda made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Olívio França sent off a good shot on target. Atlético Mineiro were awarded a corner in the 46th minute after FC Szczucin's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Tomé Brasil took the corner. The corner led Atlético Mineiro's André Luís Best to fire away a dangerous shot which Iwan Swoboda despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball.

51 minutes into the game, Iwan Mroczynski was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Szczucin's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Atlético Mineiro the free kick. A collision led to FC Szczucin getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Iwan Mroczynski hit a great ball. César de Queiroz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in FC Szczucin's zone, Olívio França stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Iwan Swoboda came out of the goal and Olívio França tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. César de Queiroz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Atlético Mineiro's Fynn John got control of the ball when Badaz Kibøl tried to sneak it across the goal line. Iwan Swoboda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from César de Queiroz, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Emanuel Barbu who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 69thth minute tested the skills of Fynn John when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 77th minute Emanuel Barbu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fynn John saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Atlético Mineiro's Fynn John got control of the ball when Emanuel Barbu tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emanuel Barbu in the 80th minute of play forced Atlético Mineiro's goalkeeper Fynn John to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fynn John came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Szczucin's Edmund Walentowicz. But to his dismay, Edmund Walentowicz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Atlético Mineiro's Fynn John played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Badaz Kibøl in the 92nd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Olívio França in the 93rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Iwan Swoboda saved FC Szczucin from getting behind. The Atlético Mineiro fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. FC Szczucin were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
