Fynn John showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lorenzo Dantel in the 3rd minute of the match. Olívio França's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Lamine Pamphile firmly grabbed it by the left post. Atlético Mineiro's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Tomé Brasil in the 8th minute. Lamine Pamphile was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but César de Queiroz showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 16 minute of play. 20 minutes into the game, Dario Macario cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Fynn John was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Atlético Mineiro's Fynn John played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iulian Cănănău in the 25th minute of play. Fynn John took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lorenzo Dantel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lamine Pamphile made an important save on a dangerous shot by Olívio França in the 39th minute. Fynn John showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lorenzo Dantel, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. André Luís Best fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lamine Pamphile having to interfere. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Olívio França stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Atlético Mineiro getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Falcão Arantes hit a great ball. After 53 minutes, Olívio França mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Atlético Mineiro and the CLUB COINOR players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of CLUB COINOR booed when Atlético Mineiro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olívio França didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 56 minutes Atlético Mineiro's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Angelino Kemen who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Dario Macario almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Atlético Mineiro's Fynn John did a great save. Dario Macario had several of the Atlético Mineiro's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 56 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-2 score and a disappointed Fynn John as he didn't even see the shot coming. An unexpectedly hard shot by César de Queiroz in the 60th minute of play forced CLUB COINOR's goalkeeper Lamine Pamphile to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the CLUB COINOR defense, André Luís Best kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lamine Pamphile. The CLUB COINOR fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lamine Pamphile should have stopped the shot. With a little luck, Atlético Mineiro's Fynn John got control of the ball when Lorenzo Dantel tried to sneak it across the goal line. Leandro Santoro's late challenge caught a Atlético Mineiro's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leandro Santoro helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, CLUB COINOR's Leandro Santoro got a free kick in the 70th minute. A collision led to CLUB COINOR getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Leandro Santoro hit a great ball. In the 79th minute of the match, Francisco Dimas got a very nice opportunity to score, but Fynn John was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Lamine Pamphile didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Olívio França went, in the 84th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. 88 minutes into the match, Atlético Mineiro's goal looked a bit too open when Iulian Cănănău came free, but Fynn John reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benê Rodrigues might have been able to make a better finish in the 90th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lamine Pamphile. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Benê Rodrigues ran back to his position shaking his head.
