Zheng Di Xi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marko Gustavsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Zheng Di Xi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Newcastle United FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Claes Ahlroht in the 23rd minute. Claes Ahlroht made a great header on Newcastle United FC's corner, it was just that MDS Soccer Club's Zheng Di Xi managed to reach the ball for a save. Zheng Di Xi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Max Mohammad in the 25th minute of play. In the 37th match minute, MDS Soccer Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Armandinho Brasil to maneuver through the defense. Zheng Di Xi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Max Mohammad, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 40th minute of the match, Erivaldo Severo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Otto Hermansson saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. José Maria Mineiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Lars Olofsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Otto Hermansson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erivaldo Severo in the 98th minute of play. The MDS Soccer Club fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Newcastle United FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
