The audience was convinced that Ciriaco Fernanco's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Iwan Swoboda was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. The corner went over the outstretched arms of FC Szczucin's goalie and right to Benicio Eate. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. FC Szczucin's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. The supporters of FC Szczucin booed when Bochin club La Palmera was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristo Mederi didn't get a good kick on the ball. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Emanuel Barbu was the one to do the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arslan Sadreddin got free with Dario Jacindo in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 62nd minute, FC Szczucin's Edmund Walentowicz dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. Bochin club La Palmera's Evaristo Reynardo was substituted for Geronimo Johans. With his leg Dario Jacindo managed to avoid a goal in the 66thth minute, when FC Szczucin's Stasio Lewkowicz fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 68th minute Cristo Mederi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iwan Swoboda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Bánk Szigethy managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bochin club La Palmera's supporters rose to their feet, but Bánk Szigethy was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Iwan Swoboda breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ciriaco Fernanco took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 91st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Iwan Swoboda. FC Szczucin's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The FC Szczucin supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing FC Szczucin would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
