The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 17 minutes into the match, C.A.P.J.'s goal looked a bit too open when Santos Griffin came free, but Ezequiel Pernambucano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 19th match minute, Topsail was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Brent Goldsmith to maneuver through the defense. In the 21st minute Antal Fodor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ezequiel Pernambucano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lucas Mota scored 0-2 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ezequiel Pernambucano, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Stanislaw Karaszkiewicz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Bill Carmichael made a huge save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Amancio Luken in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ezequiel Pernambucano saved C.A.P.J. from getting behind. Topsail's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
