In the 37th minute, Kenny Van Cruchten left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mata Tangas de Victoria fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Mata Tangas de Victoria's Pedro Ostargi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Blaise Dahmani in the 40th minute of play. With an all-out effort, United.SF's Pedro Ostargi threw himself towards the right post 44 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Tom Oolo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When Blaise Dahmani came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the United.SF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Blaise Dahmani couldn't finish the play. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kenny Van Cruchten made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Mata Tangas de Victoria's goal looked a bit too open when Tom Oolo came free, but Pedro Ostargi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mata Tangas de Victoria's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tom Oolo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-3. Mata Tangas de Victoria succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though United.SF had controlled the match.
