In the 9th minute Joseph Schwarzfischer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dida Martins saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ferenc Tököli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Balázs Sebes in the 10th minute of play. Dida Martins made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorrin Briones in the 14th minute of play. If Balázs Sebes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Balázs Sebes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Ferenc Tököli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rapsodas Red Devils FC's Ferenc Tököli proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Rapsodas Red Devils FC from getting a goal against them. In the 24th minute, Hoberg United's Balázs Sebes dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Ferenc Tököli made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Balázs Sebes sent off a good shot on target. 31 minutes into the game, Ippolit Kolobov threw the ball into play from the sideline. Hoberg United's Benny Bus quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Dida Martins showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorrin Briones in the 40th minute of the match. Hoberg United's attentive Benny Bus managed to snatch the ball when Albert Camus made a throw-in in the 42nd minute of the game. Balázs Sebes might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ferenc Tököli. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Balázs Sebes ran back to his position shaking his head. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Balázs Sebes was the one to do the kick off. In the 58th minute Hoberg United were awarded a corner. Danny Grønnow went to the cornerflag to take it. Hoberg United's Danny Grønnow was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ferenc Tököli in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Ferenc Tököli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Danny Grønnow in the 67th minute of play. Hoberg United's Louis Bullock was substituted for Maximiliano Rutenio. Hoberg United's Caetano Levandowsky was substituted for Balázs Sebes. In the 69th minute of the match Hoberg United got a corner. Rapsodas Red Devils FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Danny Grønnow ran over to the corner to take the kick. Claudio-Paul Pirinchev made a great header on Hoberg United's corner, it was just that Rapsodas Red Devils FC's Ferenc Tököli managed to reach the ball for a save. Dida Martins took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jerrold Taranco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 75 minutes Hoberg United's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Joseph Schwarzfischer who took care of the corner kick. A well done corner resulted in Cristiano Salah drilling the ball in to score 1-2 behind Hoberg United's goalkeeper. Dida Martins made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristiano Salah in the 78th minute of play. A sloppy throw-in by Albert Camus in the 79th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Hoberg United's Claudio-Paul Pirinchev. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristiano Salah in the 80th minute of play forced Hoberg United's goalkeeper Dida Martins to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rapsodas Red Devils FC were awarded a corner in the 84th minute after Hoberg United's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Joseph Schwarzfischer took the corner. Hoberg United's attentive Claudio-Paul Pirinchev managed to snatch the ball when Albert Camus made a throw-in in the 90th minute of the game. Ferenc Tököli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Caetano Levandowsky in the 91st minute of play. The Rapsodas Red Devils FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
