Braulio Lordi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 盛世 高文竞, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. CLUB ATLETICO RIVER PLATE's Braulio Lordi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save CLUB ATLETICO RIVER PLATE from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agustin Bidun in the 19th minute of play forced NFC Eagles 22's goalkeeper Ciccio Tacconi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 20 minutes into the match, CLUB ATLETICO RIVER PLATE's goal looked a bit too open when 盛世 高文竞 came free, but Braulio Lordi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 27 minutes CLUB ATLETICO RIVER PLATE's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ted Jansen who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Ted Jansen got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Braulio Lordi quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After a rather tough play, NFC Eagles 22's Ron Moermans got a free kick in the 28th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Agustin Bidun managed to get in a good position for a shot. CLUB ATLETICO RIVER PLATE's supporters rose to their feet, but Agustin Bidun was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ciccio Tacconi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ciccio Tacconi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agustin Bidun in the 39th minute of play. Ciccio Tacconi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Armando Gaizko in the 47th minute of the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Agustin Bidun made a kick off. In the 50th minute, Juan Pablo Sorin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Braulio Lordi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 盛世 高文竞 in the 52nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in CLUB ATLETICO RIVER PLATE's zone, Raymond Schouten stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Braulio Lordi came out of the goal and Raymond Schouten tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ciccio Tacconi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albino Oso, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Albino Oso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ciccio Tacconi having to interfere. Ciccio Tacconi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kiril Ivkov in the 66th minute of play. Ciccio Tacconi made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Agustin Bidun sent off a good shot on target. The throw-in from Gustavo Txurio in the 71st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by NFC Eagles 22's Ron Moermans. In the 74th minute, 盛世 高文竞 left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The NFC Eagles 22 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. In the 77th minute 盛世 高文竞 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Braulio Lordi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When CLUB ATLETICO RIVER PLATE's Albino Oso in the 78th minute got a chance for a shot 78th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye NFC Eagles 22's goalie prevented a goal. Ciccio Tacconi was out of position in the 82 minute of play, and Albino Oso capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Albino Oso really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. In the 85th minute, Cayetano Mincho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. NFC Eagles 22 were awarded a corner in the 90th minute after CLUB ATLETICO RIVER PLATE's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ted Jansen took the corner. The corner led NFC Eagles 22's Ted Jansen to fire away a dangerous shot which Braulio Lordi despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. CLUB ATLETICO RIVER PLATE's Braulio Lordi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 盛世 高文竞 in the 92nd minute of play.
