An unexpectedly hard shot by Balázs Sebes in the 3rd minute of play forced CD Municipal's goalkeeper George Forsyth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, CD Municipal's Aureliano Buendia got a free kick in the 9th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Hoberg United's zone, Enrique Cassaretto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dida Martins came out of the goal and Enrique Cassaretto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Balázs Sebes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without George Forsyth having to make a save. Mario Rui made in the 28th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Balázs Sebes. Balázs Sebes struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. George Forsyth didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hoberg United. George Forsyth showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claudio-Paul Pirinchev in the 32nd minute of the match. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hoberg United's goalkeeper Dida Martins, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Balázs Sebes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without George Forsyth having to make a save. In the 40th minute Balázs Sebes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but George Forsyth saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aureliano Buendia made in the 42nd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Enrique Cassaretto however managed to control. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Dida Martins took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enrique Cassaretto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 63rd minute, Enrique Cassaretto ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dida Martins was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Hoberg United's Louis Bullock was substituted for Maximiliano Rutenio. 75 minutes into the match, Hoberg United's goal looked a bit too open when Oalo Dean came free, but Dida Martins reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ryota Miyagi took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dida Martins. Dida Martins dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Hoberg United's Paw Heedal was substituted for Balázs Sebes. After 83 played minutes Hoberg United got a freekick which was hit by Randy Bastard. Iacob Roman took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 84th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Dida Martins. Hoberg United's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Dida Martins showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oalo Dean, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute.
