An unexpectedly hard shot by Balázs Sebes in the 17th minute of play forced Mata Tangas de Victoria's goalkeeper Pedro Ostargi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kenny Van Cruchten was extremely unlucky when he, in the 19th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Pedro Ostargi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Balázs Sebes in the 22nd minute of play. Hoberg United's defense didn't have a chance, in the 23rd minute, when Kenny Van Cruchten scored to the left of an out of position Dida Martins, making the score, 2-2. 29 minutes had been played when some careless play by Mata Tangas de Victoria's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Danny Grønnow was slow to take the kick. During this time Hoberg United's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Hoberg United's corner Danny Grønnow fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Pedro Ostargi quite easily take care of the ball. Dida Martins took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kenny Van Cruchten, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dida Martins made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kenny Van Cruchten in the 41st minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kenny Van Cruchten stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Dida Martins took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tristan Gautsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Balázs Sebes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Pedro Ostargi made a huge save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kenny Van Cruchten in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dida Martins saved Hoberg United from getting behind. A collision led to Hoberg United getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Maximiliano Rutenio hit a great ball. Dida Martins made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kenny Van Cruchten in the 64th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Hoberg United's zone, Kenny Van Cruchten stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dida Martins came out of the goal and Kenny Van Cruchten tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 67th minute of the match Maximo Uzuri shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dida Martins showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Pedro Ostargi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Balázs Sebes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 73rd minute, Răzvan Popoacă left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mata Tangas de Victoria fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. Hoberg United made a substitution. Louis Bullock replaced Maximiliano Rutenio. Balázs Sebes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Pedro Ostargi made a huge save. The supporters of Mata Tangas de Victoria booed when Hoberg United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jimmi Imtiaz didn't get a good kick on the ball. 88 minutes into the match, Mata Tangas de Victoria's goalkeeper Pedro Ostargi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Paw Heedal. Maximo Uzuri hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Carlos Annacondia hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. If Paw Heedal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew the final whistle, Mata Tangas de Victoria could leave the field as winners, despite Hoberg United having more of the ball for most of the match.
