Gabriel Ascaso made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Exequiel Zeballos sent off a good shot on target. 18 minutes had been played when some careless play by Manchester United F.C.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Omar Toledo was slow to take the kick. During this time Spain's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Spain's Vicente Merino to fire away a dangerous shot which Lyubcho Karadachki despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Manchester United F.C.'s goalie and right to David Aranda. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Manchester United F.C.'s manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Gabriel Ascaso was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Parvan Dakelov showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 28 minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Exequiel Zeballos got free with Gabriel Ascaso in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 32 minutes into the match, Manchester United F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Adria Bielsa came free, but Lyubcho Karadachki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Spain's Gabriel Ascaso got control of the ball when Exequiel Zeballos tried to sneak it across the goal line. The attack was good, but when Exequiel Zeballos in the 35th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Lyubcho Karadachki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Omar Toledo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Spain's Matias Ferrandis got a free kick in the 40th minute. Exequiel Zeballos succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 43rd playminute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Exequiel Zeballos made a kick off. The supporters of Spain booed when Manchester United F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 50 match minutes in a wonderful position. D.J. Jurado didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adria Bielsa in the 53rd minute of play forced Manchester United F.C.'s goalkeeper Lyubcho Karadachki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Exequiel Zeballos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Manchester United F.C.'s Ðukan Braga was substituted for Anacleto Emesto. Spain made a substitution. Pau Herrero replaced David Aranda. In the 91st match minute, Manchester United F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albin Apelquist to maneuver through the defense. For all the effort they put into the match, the Spain players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Manchester United F.C..
