In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind LEBEG Team's goalkeeper Demetrio Busillo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Wim Wilmes came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Netherlands fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wim Wilmes couldn't finish the play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gijsbert ter Kruimer stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Demetrio Busillo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 51st minute of play. If Wim Wilmes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. Gijsbert ter Kruimer went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Egbert Nijveldt got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 0-6. 73 minutes into the match. In the 77th minute, Wim Wilmes reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Demetrio Busillo. The goal made the score 0-7. In the 80th minute Gijsbert ter Kruimer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Demetrio Busillo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. LEBEG Team's Bianco Casciano got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gijsbert ter Kruimer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lars Meesters kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match.
