Hudson Sergipano ran over to the corner to take the kick. 吴洲坚 made a great header on Palestra do Interior's corner, it was just that France's Maxime Durand managed to reach the ball for a save. Maxime Durand stood somewhat misplaced when Paulo Godoi came free in front of goal and shot 3-0 to the left of him in the 22 minute. Paulo Godoi might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Maxime Durand. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Paulo Godoi ran back to his position shaking his head. Bruninho Vaz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Camille Baume, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 29th minute, Palestra do Interior's Paulo Godoi ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Maxime Durand. Maxime Durand yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Eugênio Alagoano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Palestra do Interior's supporters rose to their feet, but Eugênio Alagoano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maxime Durand breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Paulo Godoi might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Maxime Durand. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Paulo Godoi ran back to his position shaking his head. Maxime Durand made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Paulo Godoi sent off a good shot on target. Palestra do Interior were awarded a corner in the 45th minute after France's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Hudson Sergipano took the corner. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Frank Peletier managed to get in a good position for a shot. France's supporters rose to their feet, but Frank Peletier was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bruninho Vaz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Frank Peletier to strike the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Paulo Godoi in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Maxime Durand prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to France getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Jean Bombelles hit a great ball. In the 55th minute, Paulo Godoi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Palestra do Interior fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Paulo Godoi in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Maxime Durand saved France from getting behind. In the 62ndth minute of the game Paulo Godoi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but France's Maxime Durand was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Palestra do Interior's Vitório Lago was substituted for Paulo Godoi. Palestra do Interior's Rafael Gomes was substituted for Moisés Matorin. Palestra do Interior made a substitution. Marzuki Papilaya replaced Hudson Sergipano. In the 74th minute Vitório Lago shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maxime Durand saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 76 minutes of play, Palestra do Interior's Vitório Lago made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Maxime Durand was left in no man's land by his defense there!
