The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 2 minutes into the match, São Miguel do Oeste.SC's goalkeeper Damian Natanael had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mark Chian. Damian Natanael showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rudy Chandran in the 7th minute of the match. After 9 minutes São Miguel do Oeste.SC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Alex Chai who took care of the corner kick. Alex Chai made a great header on Singapore's corner, it was just that São Miguel do Oeste.SC's Damian Natanael managed to reach the ball for a save. José Pedro Xavier hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Almir Lago managed to get in a good position for a shot. São Miguel do Oeste.SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Almir Lago was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Shah Braddell breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. São Miguel do Oeste.SC's Damian Natanael played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rudy Chandran in the 17th minute of play. Mujahid Sim took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Damian Natanael. Damian Natanael dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Damian Natanael showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mark Chian in the 22nd minute of the match. In the 22ndth minute of the game Mark Chian who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but São Miguel do Oeste.SC's Damian Natanael was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Shah Braddell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Delmar Luix in the 24th minute of the match. With a little luck, São Miguel do Oeste.SC's Damian Natanael got control of the ball when Mujahid Sim tried to sneak it across the goal line. 30 minutes into the match, Singapore's goal looked a bit too open when Delmar Luix came free, but Shah Braddell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Shah Braddell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Delmar Luix in the 32nd minute of play. After 33 minutes Singapore's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Teodosio Txordon who took care of the corner kick. After a rather tough play, São Miguel do Oeste.SC's Khairil Lum got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Mark Chian in the 35thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Damian Natanael, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Mark Chian kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 36thth minute. Though ot was a great shot São Miguel do Oeste.SC's keeper Damian Natanael was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. 38 minutes had been played when some careless play by São Miguel do Oeste.SC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Alex Chai was slow to take the kick. During this time Singapore's players had a chance to rest. A well-hit corner resulted in Alexander Tan heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexander Tan in the 40th minute of play forced São Miguel do Oeste.SC's goalkeeper Damian Natanael to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 41st minute Singapore were awarded a corner. Alex Chai went to the cornerflag to take it. 44 minutes into the match, São Miguel do Oeste.SC's goalkeeper Damian Natanael had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mujahid Sim. An unexpectedly hard shot by Delmar Luix in the 46th minute of play forced Singapore's goalkeeper Shah Braddell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Delmar Luix in the 68th minute of play forced Singapore's goalkeeper Shah Braddell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Damian Natanael showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rudy Chandran, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. 70 minutes into the match, São Miguel do Oeste.SC's goal looked a bit too open when Rudy Chandran came free, but Damian Natanael reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 71 minutes of play, Singapore's Alexander Tan made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Damian Natanael was left in no man's land by his defense there! Damian Natanael came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by Singapore's Alexander Tan. But to his dismay, Alexander Tan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. In the 83rd minute of the match Singapore got a corner. São Miguel do Oeste.SC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Alex Chai ran over to the corner to take the kick. When the match clock showed 86 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Alexander Tan sped through São Miguel do Oeste.SC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Damian Natanael. Shah Braddell was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Sidney Pontes showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-1 in the 89 minute of play. Damian Natanael didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Adam Seng went, in the 94th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-1 was the resulting score. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Singapore fully deserved thier win.
