In the 5th minute Gustaaf Groeneveldt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paolo Urko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 6 minutes had been played when some careless play by ≡≡ SOMOS ARGENTINA ≡≡'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Wim Wilmes kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Gijsbert ter Kruimer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Netherlands's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 94th match minute, ≡≡ SOMOS ARGENTINA ≡≡ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodolfo Muc to maneuver through the defense. When the match was over Netherlands could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than ≡≡ SOMOS ARGENTINA ≡≡ throughout the match.
