Joe Pancken ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led to Inter Miami CF's Justo Montrel getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. A sloppy throw-in by Pieterjan Neef in the 6th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Inter Miami CF's Joe Pancken. Oliveiro Gijon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tonico Tinoco in the 8th minute. In the 12th minute Amador Huarte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rigoberto Horado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 16 minutes into the match, Carpasús FC - FDC's goalkeeper Oliveiro Gijon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Román Riquelme. The crowd rose to their feet as Inter Miami CF's Román Riquelme slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Oliveiro Gijon. That made the score 1-0 after 18 minutes of play. Carpasús FC - FDC's Oliveiro Gijon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tonico Tinoco in the 91st minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tonico Tinoco in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Oliveiro Gijon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Román Riquelme sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Inter Miami CF fully deserved thier win.
