Éder Póvoas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Major Barna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 11th minute, Major Barna made a precise shot to the right of Éder Póvoas. A RATA DA SALGUEIRINHA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Éder Póvoas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antal Valentin in the 18th minute of play. After 18 played minutes A RATA DA SALGUEIRINHA got a freekick which was hit by Alex Assunção. The supporters of A RATA DA SALGUEIRINHA booed when Hungary was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antal Valentin didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ronaldo Nazario in the 32nd minute of play forced Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Éder Póvoas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Major Barna, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Hungary's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Antal Valentin in the 34th minute. A well done corner resulted in Katona Janos drilling the ball in to score 1-2 behind A RATA DA SALGUEIRINHA's goalkeeper. After 38 played minutes A RATA DA SALGUEIRINHA got a freekick which was hit by Rúben Cortez. Fodor Daniel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ronaldo Nazario in the 44th minute of the match. In the 47th minute, Léo Giansanti made a precise shot to the right of Fodor Daniel. Hungary's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

After 54 minutes A RATA DA SALGUEIRINHA's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Antal Valentin who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Antal Valentin almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but A RATA DA SALGUEIRINHA's Éder Póvoas did a great save. A collision led to A RATA DA SALGUEIRINHA getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Donato Camargo hit a great ball. Fodor Daniel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ronaldo Nazario, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Major Barna's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Éder Póvoas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. The referee felt a red card was in order, 89 minutes into the game, when Katona Janos put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in Hungary fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 88th minute. Penalty! Rúben Cortez shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Hungary's Fodor Daniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Léo Giansanti in the 92nd minute of play. Major Barna kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. After 95 minutes of play, A RATA DA SALGUEIRINHA's Ronaldo Nazario made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fodor Daniel was left in no man's land by his defense there! Fodor Daniel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Léo Giansanti went, in the 98th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-2 was the resulting score.
