Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Chris Nygaard kicked off to start the match. In the 4th minute, Claude Helssen fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Lars Steen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cláudio Linhares read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 7th minute of play. The supporters of Denmark booed when Caseys Dreamteam 2 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ted Heijer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mikkel Wulff sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mikkel Wulff in the 12th minute of play forced Caseys Dreamteam 2's goalkeeper Cláudio Linhares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Caseys Dreamteam 2 booed when Denmark was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kenn Skou didn't get a good kick on the ball. Finidi George could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Keld Paulsen made a huge save. With a little luck, Denmark's Keld Paulsen got control of the ball when Finidi George tried to sneak it across the goal line. Keld Paulsen came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Caseys Dreamteam 2's Finidi George. But to his dismay, Finidi George quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Rudi de Zwart kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. In the 33rd minute, Claude Helssen made a precise shot to the right of Keld Paulsen. Denmark's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Finidi George in the 38th minute of play forced Denmark's goalkeeper Keld Paulsen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Caseys Dreamteam 2's attentive Ted Heijer managed to snatch the ball when Mikkel Wulff made a throw-in in the 40th minute of the game. Keld Paulsen came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Caseys Dreamteam 2's Finidi George. But to his dismay, Finidi George quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. After a rather tough play, Denmark's Theis Winther got a free kick in the 45th minute. Finidi George charged in rather forcefully in the 48th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Finidi George the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Finidi George was the one to do the kick off. Claude Helssen scored 4-0 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Keld Paulsen, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 59 played minutes Denmark got a freekick which was hit by Theis Winther. Denmark's Keld Paulsen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Finidi George in the 60th minute of play. Finidi George took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Keld Paulsen. Keld Paulsen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. In the 73rd minute, Claude Helssen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Claude Helssen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 79th minute Finidi George shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Keld Paulsen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Keld Paulsen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Finidi George, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 88 minutes, Freek Wolf mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Caseys Dreamteam 2 and the Denmark players grew even worse after the yellow card. Mathias Ludvigsen charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mathias Ludvigsen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 93rd minute, Mathias Ludvigsen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
