Gijsbert ter Kruimer started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd play minute Ponciano Abarca came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Arnout Reekers. 1-0. 9 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Ponciano Abarca came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 11 minutes had been played when some careless play by Netherlands's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Guerau Abeitia was slow to take the kick. During this time River CBBA's players had a chance to rest. In the 12th minute Gustaaf Groeneveldt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Naike Abalos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Netherlands's zone, Ponciano Abarca stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arnout Reekers came out of the goal and Ponciano Abarca tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ponciano Abarca received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Arnout Reekers came out and tried to block the shot, but Ponciano Abarca slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 17th minute. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ponciano Abarca in the 28th minute of play. Ponciano Abarca's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arnout Reekers read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. Cipriano Abechuco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Arnout Reekers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Netherlands's Kees Mooiweer got a free kick in the 45th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

River CBBA made a substitution. Juan Funes replaced Ponciano Abarca. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Juan Funes to strike the kick off in the second half. Kees Mooiweer made in the 59th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Gijsbert ter Kruimer however managed to control. Naike Abalos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lars Meesters in the 61st minute of the match. A collision led to River CBBA getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Arano Abendano hit a great ball. After 65 minutes Netherlands's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Deng Xing Sang who took care of the corner kick. Wim Wilmes who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 72ndth minute tested the skills of Naike Abalos when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lars Meesters in the 80th minute of play forced River CBBA's goalkeeper Naike Abalos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wim Wilmess short, quick shot in the 84thth minute got Naike Abalos to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 84 minutes into the game, Wim Wilmes lined in a short shot 3-1 behind a frustrated Naike Abalos. Arnout Reekers came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by River CBBA's Juan Funes. But to his dismay, Juan Funes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. 92 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Juan Funes came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 97 played minutes Netherlands got a freekick which was hit by David Eikelkamp.
