Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Chris Nygaard started the match with the kick off. If Amancio Brion had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Denmark's Keld Paulsen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gregorio Bidun in the 12th minute of play. Leon Avellaneda came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by Denmark's Bertram Svenningsen. But to his dismay, Bertram Svenningsen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 18th minute, Chris Nygaard made a precise shot to the right of Leon Avellaneda. Inter de Monte Grande fc's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. After a defensive mix-up in Inter de Monte Grande fc's zone, Chris Nygaard stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leon Avellaneda came out of the goal and Chris Nygaard tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Chris Nygaard in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leon Avellaneda prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Amancio Brion blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Keld Paulsen having to make a save. Amancio Brion received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Keld Paulsen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leon Avellaneda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chris Nygaard, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Denmark's Lars Steen quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Benedicto Lastur, made in the 36th minute of the game. In the 42nd match minute, Inter de Monte Grande fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elpidio Malvin to maneuver through the defense. After 44 played minutes Denmark got a freekick which was hit by Lars Steen.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Elpidio Malvin to strike the kick off in the second half. If Chris Nygaard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 64 minutes into the game, Denmark's Chris Nygaard nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Leon Avellaneda made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Benedicto Lastur charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Benedicto Lastur the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Denmark booed when Inter de Monte Grande fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benedicto Lastur didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Inter de Monte Grande fc defense, Chris Nygaard kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Leon Avellaneda. The Inter de Monte Grande fc fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leon Avellaneda should have stopped the shot. Denmark's Mikkel Wulff suffered a sprained foot after 75 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Benedicto Lastur kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. In the 77th match minute, Inter de Monte Grande fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benedicto Lastur to maneuver through the defense. Chris Nygaard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Denmark's zone, Anselmo Gabrio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Keld Paulsen came out of the goal and Anselmo Gabrio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lars Steen's late challenge caught a Inter de Monte Grande fc's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lars Steen helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Denmark getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Lars Steen hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Chris Nygaard in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leon Avellaneda saved Inter de Monte Grande fc from getting behind. In the 92nd minute Denmark were awarded a corner. Chris Nygaard went to the cornerflag to take it. The supporters of Inter de Monte Grande fc booed when Denmark was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mathias Ludvigsen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Denmark played a much better game than Inter de Monte Grande fc and deserved their victory. The Inter de Monte Grande fc players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
