Reino Helavuori stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Frank Sachs's shot from short distance in the 5th minute. Albin Holweck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Frank Sachs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pyry Kuokkanen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Tommy Kahn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matias Raisanen in the 21st minute of play. In the 23rd minute of the match FC PullaPojat got a corner. Germany's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jiang Xiao Yuan ran over to the corner to take the kick. If Frank Sachs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Germany getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Adrian Dreifuss hit a great ball. Pyry Kuokkanen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Tommy Kahn made a huge save. Reino Helavuori showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frank Sachs, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Jiang Xiao Yuan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Frank Sachs might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Reino Helavuori. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Frank Sachs made a kick off. The Germany fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tommy Kahn should have stopped the shot. The supporters of FC PullaPojat booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albin Holweck didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Pyry Kuokkanen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. For all the effort they put into the match, the Germany players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for FC PullaPojat.
