After 6 minutes Inter Miami CF's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Freddy Claude who took care of the corner kick. 10 minutes into the match, Yavuz Acabay had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Reynaldo Donio. Inter Miami CF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Yavuz Acabay was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Octavio Ferrer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andy Johnson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 14th minute, Freddy Claude hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 17 minutes into the match, Inter Miami CF's goal looked a bit too open when Esteve Abechuco came free, but Reynaldo Donio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Juan Raúl Riquelme fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Octavio Ferrer having to interfere. Esteve Abechuco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Reynaldo Donio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Octavio Ferrer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juan Raúl Riquelme in the 34th minute of the match. Carolo Bizen who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 38thth minute tested the skills of Reynaldo Donio when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Hipolito Froila's late challenge caught a Inter Miami CF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hipolito Froila helped the player get up and apologised. Hipolito Froila hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. In the 45th minute Juan Raúl Riquelme shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Octavio Ferrer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

After 85 played minutes, Yala's Freddy Claude shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Reynaldo Donio came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Yala reached it. After 86 minutes Inter Miami CF's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Freddy Claude who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Freddy Claude got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Reynaldo Donio quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 95th minute Yavuz Acabay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reynaldo Donio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
