Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Trond Langøy in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Maarten Uijterhoven prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Club Brugge booed when KP Opel Kamień was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iwan Mis didn't get a good kick on the ball. 12 minutes into the match, Konstanty Kajder had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Maarten Uijterhoven. Club Brugge's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Konstanty Kajder was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Constantijn Philippaerts could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Ulryk Jarosiewicz made a huge save. In the 18th minute, Konstanty Kajder made a precise shot to the right of Maarten Uijterhoven. Club Brugge's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Konstanty Kajder in the 20th minute of play forced Club Brugge's goalkeeper Maarten Uijterhoven to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 21st match minute, Club Brugge was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Constantijn Philippaerts to maneuver through the defense. Maarten Uijterhoven made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gu Bang Jun in the 26th minute of play. 30 minutes into the match, KP Opel Kamień's goal looked a bit too open when Abraham Opdebeeck came free, but Ulryk Jarosiewicz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 32 minutes of play, KP Opel Kamień's Trond Langøy made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Maarten Uijterhoven was left in no man's land by his defense there! Trond Langøy recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Maarten Uijterhoven showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Trond Langøy, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Trond Langøy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Maarten Uijterhoven tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 45 minutes into the game, Gu Bang Jun was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. KP Opel Kamień's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club Brugge the free kick. In the 45th minute, Gu Bang Jun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Club Brugge players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. KP Opel Kamień were winning 0-3.

After 62 played minutes Club Brugge got a freekick which was hit by Brent Huijbrechs. 63 minutes into the game, Trond Langøy cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Maarten Uijterhoven was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Konstanty Kajder received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Maarten Uijterhoven tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Trond Langøy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Simon Van Boeckost made in the 81st minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Xavier Francken. 83 minutes into the game, Trond Langøy lined in a short shot 0-5 behind a frustrated Maarten Uijterhoven. After 93 played minutes KP Opel Kamień got a freekick which was hit by Gu Bang Jun. In the 96th minute, Trond Langøy made a precise shot to the right of Maarten Uijterhoven. Club Brugge's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-6. Trond Langøy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 99th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maarten Uijterhoven having to interfere.
