Ma Yong Jun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Quentín Saravia, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Karen FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 64th minute, when Alam Brito scored to the left of an out of position Ma Yong Jun, making the score, 0-2. In the 67th play minute José Julio Almi came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Ma Yong Jun. 0-3. Sezen Taşkın fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ma Yong Jun having to interfere. Ma Yong Jun made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Sezen Taşkın sent off a good shot on target. 77 minutes into the match, Karen FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alam Brito came free, but Ma Yong Jun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gunnar Bure hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. In the 79th minute Alam Brito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ma Yong Jun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the last second Ma Yong Jun throw himself and got hold of the ball when Alam Brito in the 79thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. José Julio Almi made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 81stth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Ma Yong Jun would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. In the 84th match minute, Karen FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anders Törnqvist to maneuver through the defense. In the 85th minute of the match Xalvador Quijada shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ma Yong Jun showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Ma Yong Jun came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by U. de Tarapacá's José Julio Almi. But to his dismay, José Julio Almi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. In the 90th minute, Paco Raab left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The U. de Tarapacá fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5.
The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched U. de Tarapacá eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
