Clube Atlético Luziense's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hertha 1969 the free kick. A collision led to Clube Atlético Luziense getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Amauri Soeiro hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diogo Arruda in the 24th minute of play forced Hertha 1969's goalkeeper Tjark Ernst to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Pascal Prinzing stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Tjark Ernst made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Vítor Machado in the 61st minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when José Vítor Machado got free with Tjark Ernst in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Artemio Tohias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mark Stripf, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Clube Atlético Luziense's Artemio Tohias played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pascal Prinzing in the 69th minute of play. The supporters of Hertha 1969 booed when Clube Atlético Luziense was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabrício do Vale didn't get a good kick on the ball. Clube Atlético Luziense's Armandinho Guimarães was substituted for Fabrício do Vale. A collision led to Clube Atlético Luziense getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Amauri Soeiro was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 96 minutes into the match. In the 97th minute, Amauri Soeiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 98 minutes into the match, Clube Atlético Luziense's goal looked a bit too open when Simon Stiehl came free, but Artemio Tohias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Hertha 1969 had played much better football throughout.
