Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kyle Cox stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Issac Dawson kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Nildo Lara. That made the score 1-4 in the 55 minute of play. Nildo Lara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kyle Cox, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Nildo Lara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kyle Cox, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. England's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kyle Cox was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 71st minute, Jonas das Neves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpected shot in the 74th minute by Kyle Cox got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. But to his dismay, Issac Dawson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-6. Kyle Cox recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Micah Macdonald fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nildo Lara having to interfere. In the 90th match minute, America Futebol Clube SP was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juan do Vale to maneuver through the defense. Issac Dawson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Xavier Gallagher during the 96th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Xavier Gallagher hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match.
