Netherlands's Arnout Reekers proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Netherlands from getting a goal against them. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hristofor Yonchevski in the 14th minute of play. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Netherlands from getting a goal against them. Óscar Cordobé made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 20th minute of play. Themos Karoulias kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Gijsbert ter Kruimer took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 22nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Óscar Cordobé. AdanaSpor 2010's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Óscar Cordobé showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. 25 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fatih Tekke. In the 29th minute of the match AdanaSpor 2010 got a corner. Netherlands's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Arda Baybars Tarhun ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Dieter Gamache almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Netherlands's Arnout Reekers did a great save. A collision led to Netherlands getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. David Eikelkamp hit a great ball. 32 minutes in the game, Hristofor Yonchevski fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Arnout Reekers having to interfere. Óscar Cordobé made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 34th minute of play. In the 34th minute, Gijsbert ter Kruimer left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Netherlands fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. If Wim Wilmes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 46 played minutes AdanaSpor 2010 got a freekick which was hit by Dieter Gamache. After the first half Netherlands were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Gustaaf Groeneveldt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 50th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With an all-out effort, Netherlands's Óscar Cordobé threw himself towards the right post 57 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 58th match minute, Netherlands was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bas Tuitert to maneuver through the defense. In the 60th minute of the match AdanaSpor 2010 got a corner. In the 70th minute Fatih Tekke shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fatih Tekke in the 74th minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gustaaf Groeneveldt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Óscar Cordobé made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Óscar Cordobé. That made the score 1-2 after 89 minutes of play. In the 93rd minute Netherlands were awarded a corner. Gijsbert ter Kruimer went to the cornerflag to take it. Netherlands's Egbert Nijveldt was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Óscar Cordobé in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Netherlands's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
