Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Chris Nygaard took the kick off in the first half of the match. Esbjörn Forssell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chris Nygaard, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Esbjörn Forssell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chris Nygaard, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. After 9 played minutes Wrexham A.F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Roger Koch. Denmark's Keld Paulsen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Denmark from getting a goal against them. Keld Paulsen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adrian Söderberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Elof Mellbad took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Keld Paulsen. Keld Paulsen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chris Nygaard in the 29th minute of play forced Wrexham A.F.C.'s goalkeeper Esbjörn Forssell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 31st minute, Olav Graversen left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Denmark fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. 35 minutes into the match, Denmark's goal looked a bit too open when Elof Mellbad came free, but Keld Paulsen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Elof Mellbad in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Keld Paulsen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Mikkel Wulff had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Denmark's Simon Bendtsen managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Per-Oskar Wiberg in the 46 minute of the game. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When Chris Nygaard came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Denmark fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Chris Nygaard couldn't finish the play. Mikkel Wulff was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 56th minute. Denmark's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. When Denmark's Chris Nygaard in the 61st minute got a chance for a shot 61st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Wrexham A.F.C.'s goalie prevented a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Mikkel Wulff managed to get in a good position for a shot. Denmark's supporters rose to their feet, but Mikkel Wulff was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Esbjörn Forssell breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Esbjörn Forssell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chris Nygaard in the 72nd minute of the match. In the 76th minute of the match, Chris Nygaard tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Esbjörn Forssell saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chris Nygaard in the 77th minute of play forced Wrexham A.F.C.'s goalkeeper Esbjörn Forssell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wrexham A.F.C.'s Esbjörn Forssell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chris Nygaard in the 79th minute of play. A collision led to Wrexham A.F.C. getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Sten Björk hit a great ball. In the 85th minute, Bjarne Kirkegaard hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 86th minute of the match Elof Mellbad sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Keld Paulsen skillfully saved the ball. Bertram Svenningsen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Chris Nygaard scored 1-2 in the 95th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Esbjörn Forssell, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
