Gabby Arias was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gabby Arias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 22nd minute of play. Arnout Reekers made an important save on a dangerous shot by 史铮坤 in the 25th minute. 27 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fernando Redondo. Arnout Reekers made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Niva Bellido sent off a good shot on target. Wim Wilmes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gabby Arias read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. Gabby Arias showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wim Wilmes in the 44th minute of the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gijsbert ter Kruimer was the one to do the kick off. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eleuterio Mirande, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gregorio Sein hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. In the 58th minute, Gijsbert ter Kruimer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gustaaf Groeneveldt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gabby Arias having to interfere. Gabby Arias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 62nd minute of play. With a little luck, Ilulea FC's Gabby Arias got control of the ball when Gustaaf Groeneveldt tried to sneak it across the goal line. 64 minutes into the match, Ilulea FC's goalkeeper Gabby Arias had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by David Eikelkamp. In the 65th minute Netherlands were awarded a corner. Gijsbert ter Kruimer went to the cornerflag to take it. If 史铮坤 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Netherlands getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Gijsbert ter Kruimer hit a great ball. The corner ended in 史铮坤 almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Netherlands's Arnout Reekers did a great save. Ilulea FC's Gabby Arias proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Ilulea FC from getting a goal against them. After some careless play in the Netherlands defense, 史铮坤 kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arnout Reekers. The Netherlands fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arnout Reekers should have stopped the shot. Ilulea FC's Gabby Arias played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 89th minute of play. Gustaaf Groeneveldt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Ilulea FC's Gregorio Sein got a free kick in the 94th minute. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
