After 47 minutes of play, Brazil's Morales Moreira made it 8-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Moisés Borges was left in no man's land by his defense there! Af the end of the first half the score was 8-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Morales Moreira made the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Morales Moreira's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Moisés Borges was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. The CA Boca Juniors fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Moisés Borges should have stopped the shot. The Brazil fans' excitement grew in the 79th match minute when Brazil's Denílson Tepedino looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 13-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 83rd minute, Marco Vianna ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Moisés Borges was frozen by the shot and now it was 14-0. Brazil's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
