Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dráuzio Batista's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Ilija Skugor firmly grabbed it by the left post. Ilija Skugor made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dráuzio Batista in the 5th minute. 8 minutes into the match, Croatia's goalkeeper Ilija Skugor had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Serafim Salles. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sidnei Falcão got free with Ilija Skugor in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Croatia's Ilija Skugor proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Croatia from getting a goal against them. Ilija Skugor made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when João Pedro Vaz sent off a good shot on target. In the 14th minute of the match, Jâninho Melo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ilija Skugor saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Ilija Skugor came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Acad Fanática por Futebol's Sidnei Falcão. But to his dismay, Sidnei Falcão quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Ilija Skugor was a little too slow when Giovani Moreno got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 23rd minute. The score was now 3-0. Croatia's Toni Mauzer got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ilija Skugor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sidnei Falcão in the 28th minute of the match. With a little luck, Croatia's Ilija Skugor got control of the ball when Dráuzio Batista tried to sneak it across the goal line. Toni Mauzer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 40 minutes into the game, Víktor Cerezo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Acad Fanática por Futebol's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Croatia the free kick. Víktor Cerezo hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. In the 42nd minute Sidnei Falcão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ilija Skugor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sidnei Falcãos short, quick shot in the 45thth minute got Ilija Skugor to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sidnei Falcão in the 48th minute of play forced Croatia's goalkeeper Ilija Skugor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Toni Mauzer stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sidnei Falcão in the 52nd minute of play forced Croatia's goalkeeper Ilija Skugor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ilija Skugor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Serafim Salles in the 53rd minute of play. In the 54th minute, Croatia's Benjamin Domazet seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Benjamin Domazet the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Croatia protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Benjamin Domazet had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Benjamin Domazet hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. In the 56th minute, Luisito Tejerina sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Croatia's Ilija Skugor didn't even have to move. Giovani Moreno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Ilija Skugor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 59th minute, Serafim Salles left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Acad Fanática por Futebol fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. After a defensive mix-up in Croatia's zone, João Pedro Vaz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ilija Skugor came out of the goal and João Pedro Vaz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ilija Skugor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sidnei Falcão in the 65th minute of play. Ilija Skugor came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Acad Fanática por Futebol's Sidnei Falcão. But to his dismay, Sidnei Falcão quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. Serafim Salles might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ilija Skugor. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Serafim Salles ran back to his position shaking his head. Ilija Skugor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Serafim Salles, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 75th minute Sidnei Falcão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ilija Skugor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ilija Skugor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sidnei Falcão, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. In the 79th minute, Serafim Salles got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 80th minute, Serafim Salles ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ilija Skugor was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. After 84 minutes of play, Acad Fanática por Futebol's Serafim Salles made it 8-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ilija Skugor was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ilija Skugor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Víktor Cerezo in the 87th minute of the match. Serafim Salles scored 9-0 in the 94th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ilija Skugor, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Acad Fanática por Futebol's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
