Don Malbec's supporters crossed their fingers, but Armando Paredes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Antonio Delfino fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Don Malbec's protests and gave Antonio Delfino a yellow card for diving instead. After 15 played minutes Don Malbec got a freekick which was hit by Antonio Delfino. Germany's Frank Sachs couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 15th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Don Malbec. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julio Urko, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Frank Sachs hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Germany's zone, Julio Urko stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tommy Kahn came out of the goal and Julio Urko tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 38 played minutes Don Malbec got a freekick which was hit by Elmas Veloz. The supporters of Don Malbec booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Janik Vogt didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 46th minute of the match Julio Urko shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tommy Kahn showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Pastor Celipe struck a weak shot in the 48th minute. Tommy Kahn didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Don Malbec.

After a rather tough play, Don Malbec's Elmas Veloz got a free kick in the 56th minute. Elmas Veloz got a throw-in 58 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Pastor Celipe. Zacarias Balon kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Albin Holweck's late challenge caught a Don Malbec's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Albin Holweck helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Germany getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Albin Holweck hit a great ball. Aurelio Astudillo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albin Holweck in the 69th minute of the match. In the 69th minute of the match, Frank Sachs got a very nice opportunity to score, but Aurelio Astudillo was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 71st match minute, Germany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albin Holweck to maneuver through the defense. Gaby Batistuta blasted a shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tommy Kahn having to make a save. 96 minutes into the match, Pastor Celipe notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Germany's Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Don Malbec walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
