In the 11th minute, Hickey Callaghan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wilson Amorim prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 22nd minute Graciano Coutinho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gordon Horgan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Olgun Oktay could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Wilson Amorim made a huge save. Olgun Oktay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Wilson Amorim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 33 minutes into the match, Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Olgun Oktay. The coaching staff of COPERNICUS TORUŃ protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Gustavo Coates had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Gustavo Coates hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Felipe Barreto struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Gordon Horgan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Portugal. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Olgun Oktay stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Felipe Barreto who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 53rdth minute tested the skills of Gordon Horgan when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Rodolfo Miranda's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gordon Horgan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. Portugal were awarded a corner in the 61th minute after COPERNICUS TORUŃ's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Felipe Barreto took the corner. Portugal's Wilson Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brion Murphy in the 65th minute of play. In the 79th match minute, COPERNICUS TORUŃ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Shi Guo Hong to maneuver through the defense. COPERNICUS TORUŃ's Gordon Horgan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save COPERNICUS TORUŃ from getting a goal against them. 82 minutes into the game, Felipinho Amorim recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gordon Horgan. Felipinho Amorim showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-3. After a rather tough play, Portugal's Caetano Moreira got a free kick in the 96th minute. After 97 played minutes, COPERNICUS TORUŃ's Artuir Ramsey shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Wilson Amorim came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in COPERNICUS TORUŃ reached it. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Portugal eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
