Hugo Orlando Gatti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wim Wilmes in the 21st minute of the match. 22 minutes into the match, Consejo del Mate's goal looked a bit too open when Gijsbert ter Kruimer came free, but Hugo Orlando Gatti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hugo Orlando Gatti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wim Wilmes, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Hugo Orlando Gatti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wim Wilmes in the 28th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Consejo del Mate made a substitution. Victor Maureo replaced Santo Lorenz. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gijsbert ter Kruimer made a kick off. Hugo Orlando Gatti made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Wim Wilmes sent off a good shot on target. In the 54th minute, Fagildo Pamanes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Arnout Reekers was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Hugo Orlando Gatti stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gijsbert ter Kruimer's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julio Kemen in the 63rd minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 67 minutes into the match, Consejo del Mate's goal looked a bit too open when Lars Meesters came free, but Hugo Orlando Gatti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Egbert Nijveldt kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Wim Wilmes's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Hugo Orlando Gatti firmly grabbed it by the left post. Gustaaf Groeneveldt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Hugo Orlando Gatti made a huge save. A collision led to Consejo del Mate getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Honorato Zambujal hit a great ball. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
