Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Germany's Frank Sachs started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Jardel van Beek could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Tommy Kahn made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as Rubim Mendonça kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Tommy Kahn. That made the score 1-0 in the 6 minute of play. Jaime Vilela fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tommy Kahn having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Germany's zone, Roberto Pegado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tommy Kahn came out of the goal and Roberto Pegado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 13th minute, Frank Sachs left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Germany fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Laurentino Tavares hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. The FC Dream Team fans' excitement grew in the 19th match minute when FC Dream Team's Roberto Pegado looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Roberto Pegado in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tommy Kahn saved Germany from getting behind. In the 28th minute of the match FC Dream Team got a corner. Germany's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Laurentino Tavares ran over to the corner to take the kick. Erling Björkdal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albin Holweck in the 34th minute of the match. In the 35th minute Germany were awarded a corner. Frank Sachs went to the cornerflag to take it. Frank Sachs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erling Björkdal having to interfere. Jardel van Beek could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Tommy Kahn made a huge save.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rubim Mendonça to strike the kick off in the second half. Albin Holweck might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Erling Björkdal. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Albin Holweck ran back to his position shaking his head. Frank Sachs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Albin Holweck recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A sloppy throw-in by Linus Schwerner in the 66th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by FC Dream Team's Laurentino Tavares. After a defensive mix-up in FC Dream Team's zone, Frank Sachs stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Erling Björkdal came out of the goal and Frank Sachs tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A sloppy throw-in by Linus Schwerner in the 74th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by FC Dream Team's Laurentino Tavares. A collision led to FC Dream Team getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Laurentino Tavares hit a great ball. Erling Björkdal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albin Holweck in the 76th minute of the match. The FC Dream Team fans' excitement grew in the 79th match minute when FC Dream Team's Flávio Almeida looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. FC Dream Team's Ivan Coimbra was substituted for Roberto Pegado. Frank Sachs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erling Björkdal having to interfere. If Frank Sachs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. FC Dream Team had won after a very even match.
