Guilherme Xande helped the player get up and apologised. Guilherme Xande hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Matias Santikurtz got free with Tommy Kahn in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 23 minutes, Frank Sachs managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Germany's supporters crossed their fingers, but Frank Sachs was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tommy Kahn made an important save on a dangerous shot by Matias Santikurtz in the 26th minute. 28 minutes into the game, Albin Holweck was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player.
