Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Elmo Lodev started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. With a little luck, Germany's Tommy Kahn got control of the ball when Elmo Lodev tried to sneak it across the goal line. Frank Sachs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Dušan Kinder showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frank Sachs, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Hardo Kaar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tommy Kahn having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Hardo Kaar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tommy Kahn was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. Hardo Kaar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hardo Kaar in the 14th minute of play. In the 21stth minute of the game Frank Sachs who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Aidu Metskonna Pöörased's Dušan Kinder was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tommy Kahn stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hardo Kaar's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. After having played for 25 minutes, Elmo Lodev managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Aidu Metskonna Pöörased's supporters crossed their fingers, but Elmo Lodev was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hardo Kaar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tommy Kahn having to interfere. Albin Holweck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Dušan Kinder tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 34 played minutes Aidu Metskonna Pöörased got a freekick which was hit by Albert Nugin. After 36 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Adrian Dreifuss. Dušan Kinder took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frank Sachs, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tommy Kahn came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by Aidu Metskonna Pöörased's Hardo Kaar. But to his dismay, Hardo Kaar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Hardo Kaar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Elmo Lodev got free with Tommy Kahn in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 48 minutes had been played when some careless play by Germany's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Vincent Wiechgers was slow to take the kick. During this time Aidu Metskonna Pöörased's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Vincent Wiechgers almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Germany's Tommy Kahn did a great save. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Frank Sachs stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Elmo Lodev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 64 minutes into the match, Aidu Metskonna Pöörased's goalkeeper Dušan Kinder had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Frank Sachs. The supporters of Aidu Metskonna Pöörased booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Willy Stieler didn't get a good kick on the ball. 67 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Hardo Kaar came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Frank Sachs scored 1-1 in the 71st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dušan Kinder, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Germany's Janik Vogt got a free kick in the 76th minute. Aidu Metskonna Pöörased's Dušan Kinder played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frank Sachs in the 80th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Elmo Lodev's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tommy Kahn was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. Willy Stieler hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. 92 minutes into the match, Hardo Kaar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tommy Kahn. Germany's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hardo Kaar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Frank Sachs received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Dušan Kinder tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Germany's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
