Fabio Auer was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Renan Bouzat showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 11 minute of play. Austria's Fabio Auer proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Austria from getting a goal against them. Renan Bouzat charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Renan Bouzat the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 16th match minute, R.C. Austria's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cyrille Melon was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Maxence Demay during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 35th minute, Maxence Demay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Song Xing Le took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fabio Auer. Fabio Auer dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. 42 minutes into the game, Mihail Toader cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-0. Fabio Auer was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. R.C. Marseille's Hocine Croix was substituted for Mihail Toader.

Fabio Auer didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cyrille Melon went, in the 52nd minute, to the upper right corner, 9-0 was the resulting score. When R.C. In the 64th minute, Sébastian Casse got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 67th minute, Cyrille Melon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Song Xing Le managed to get in a good position for a shot. R.C. Marseille's supporters rose to their feet, but Song Xing Le was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fabio Auer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fabio Auer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cyrille Melon in the 70th minute of play. Cyrille Melon blasted a shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fabio Auer having to make a save. Fabio Auer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cyrille Melon in the 74th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Austria's zone, Sébastian Casse stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fabio Auer came out of the goal and Sébastian Casse tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. R.C. Marseille made a substitution. Djibril Mourot replaced Cyrille Melon. If Djibril Mourot had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Fabio Auer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Djibril Mourot in the 82nd minute of play. Fabio Auer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Djibril Mourot in the 84th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Djibril Mourot in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fabio Auer prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The R.C. Marseille fans' excitement grew in the 88th match minute when R.C. Marseille's Djibril Mourot looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 11-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Sandro Galishoff fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gustave Souchu having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Djibril Mourot in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fabio Auer prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
