Paulão Bezerra scored 1-0 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gabriel Ascaso, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. LOBO 1908's Grisha Mbappè got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the Spain defense, Grisha Mbappè kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gabriel Ascaso. The Spain fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gabriel Ascaso should have stopped the shot. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Grisha Mbappè was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Spain's Jonathan Criado got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Chiquinho Aparecido was a little too slow when Adria Bielsa got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 54th minute. The score was now 2-1.
