Valer Nuțu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antal Valentin, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. 8 minutes into the match, Major Barna had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Valer Nuțu. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Major Barna was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 12 minutes into the game, Eliodor Bântu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hungary the free kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Major Barna in the 13th minute of play forced Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s goalkeeper Valer Nuțu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Antal Valentin came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Hungary fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Antal Valentin couldn't finish the play. If Major Barna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Major Barna scored 0-3 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Valer Nuțu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Petre Benga could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Fodor Daniel made a huge save. In the 33rd minute, Antal Valentin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Valer Nuțu was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Valer Nuțu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antal Valentin in the 36th minute of the match. 36 minutes into the game, Iordache Vuşcan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hungary the free kick. Iordache Vuşcan kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Takacs Tibor managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hungary's supporters rose to their feet, but Takacs Tibor was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Valer Nuțu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Valer Nuțu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antal Valentin in the 39th minute of the match.

After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Antal Valentin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hungary's supporters rose to their feet, but Antal Valentin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Valer Nuțu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Major Barna's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Valer Nuțu firmly grabbed it by the left post. Antal Valentin made a great header on Hungary's corner, it was just that Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Valer Nuțu managed to reach the ball for a save. Claudiu Bosioc sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Antal Valentin scored 0-6 in the 64th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Valer Nuțu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Valer Nuțu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Major Barna in the 68th minute. In the 69th minute of the match Hungary got a corner. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Antal Valentin ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s goalie and right to Balazs Lajos. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. In the 71st minute, Major Barna left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hungary fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-7. After 83 minutes of play, Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Petre Benga made it 1-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fodor Daniel was left in no man's land by his defense there! Mădălin Arjoca kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Valer Nuțu made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Major Barna sent off a good shot on target. Antal Valentin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valer Nuțu having to interfere. Balazs Lajos hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Mădălin Arjoca took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 95th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Fodor Daniel. Hungary's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a rather tough play, Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Claudiu Bosioc got a free kick in the 96th minute. Hungary's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
