Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) After 8 minutes of play, Birvan Spor Kulübü's Abdulbaki Osmanoğlu made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Keld Paulsen was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 15th minute, Birvan Spor Kulübü's Abdulbaki Osmanoğlu ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Keld Paulsen. Keld Paulsen yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Yüksel Refah in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Keld Paulsen saved Denmark from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Birvan Spor Kulübü's zone, Chris Nygaard stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Henry de Vries came out of the goal and Chris Nygaard tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 33 minutes, Abdulbaki Osmanoğlu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Birvan Spor Kulübü's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abdulbaki Osmanoğlu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match clock showed 38 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Chris Nygaard sped through Birvan Spor Kulübü's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Henry de Vries. Birvan Spor Kulübü's Yüksel Refah managed to work through Denmark's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Yüksel Refah dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Yüksel Refah made a kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Chris Nygaard in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Henry de Vries saved Birvan Spor Kulübü from getting behind. A collision led to Denmark getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Bertram Svenningsen hit a great ball. A hard shot 58 in the game by Chris Nygaard from a close distance when the talented Henry de Vries managed to make a qualified save. Birvan Spor Kulübü's players were relieved. Simon Bendtsen kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Mikkel Wulff blasted a shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Henry de Vries having to make a save. Yüksel Refah fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Keld Paulsen having to interfere. In the 66th match minute, Birvan Spor Kulübü was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vecdi Sulasi to maneuver through the defense. In the 69th minute Chris Nygaard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henry de Vries saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 71 minutes, Chris Nygaard managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Denmark's supporters crossed their fingers, but Chris Nygaard was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Birvan Spor Kulübü made a substitution. Afşin Hikmet replaced Abdulbaki Osmanoğlu. Keld Paulsen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yüksel Refah in the 75th minute of play. Chris Nygaard recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Chris Nygaard's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Henry de Vries was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. In the 83rdth minute of the game Yüksel Refah who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Denmark's Keld Paulsen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Bertram Svenningsen kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. After 85 minutes, Yüksel Refah mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Birvan Spor Kulübü and the Denmark players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Birvan Spor Kulübü getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Yüksel Refah hit a great ball. After 87 played minutes Birvan Spor Kulübü got a freekick which was hit by Hasan Avcıoğlu. Keld Paulsen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Afşin Hikmet in the 90th minute of the match. In the 91st minute, Afşin Hikmet made a precise shot to the right of Keld Paulsen. Denmark's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. 94 minutes into the match, Denmark's goal looked a bit too open when Afşin Hikmet came free, but Keld Paulsen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Birvan Spor Kulübü's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
