Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xorxe Canosa in the 15th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Germany's zone, Xorxe Canosa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tommy Kahn came out of the goal and Xorxe Canosa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tommy Kahn stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Xorxe Canosa's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. In the 21st minute, Gordy Uchiha ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tommy Kahn was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. 25 minutes into the match, Xorxe Canosa notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Germany's Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Alvaro Giro made in the 43rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Germany's Janik Vogt. The audience was convinced that Xorxe Canosa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tommy Kahn was relentless in the 47th minute of the game. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Frank Sachs was the one to do the kick off. Xorxe Canosa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Tommy Kahn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tommy Kahn was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
