Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Frank Sachs started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by İlbey Denizalp in the 3rd minute of play. In the 8th minute İlbey Denizalp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Germany's Tommy Kahn got control of the ball when Yancho Traychev tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cido Fernandez had several of the Germany's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 14 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Tommy Kahn as he didn't even see the shot coming. After a defensive mix-up in EK's zone, Frank Sachs stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Denimir Bebin came out of the goal and Frank Sachs tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. EK's Denimir Bebin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albin Holweck in the 24th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, İlbey Denizalp managed to get in a good position for a shot. EK's supporters rose to their feet, but İlbey Denizalp was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tommy Kahn breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of EK booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chris Mergenthaler didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 32nd minute of the match, İlbey Denizalp tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Tommy Kahn saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Yancho Traychev could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Tommy Kahn made a huge save. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yancho Traychev in the 38th minute of play. EK's Yancho Traychev managed to work through Germany's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Yancho Traychev dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by İlbey Denizalp in the 44th minute of play. In the 46th minute, EK's İlbey Denizalp dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for İlbey Denizalp to strike the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the EK defense, Frank Sachs kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Denimir Bebin. The EK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Denimir Bebin should have stopped the shot. 55 minutes into the match, EK's goalkeeper Denimir Bebin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Frank Sachs. 57 minutes into the game, Cido Fernandez cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Tommy Kahn was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Denimir Bebin made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Frank Sachs sent off a good shot on target. 73 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Cido Fernandez came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Germany's zone, Yancho Traychev stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tommy Kahn came out of the goal and Yancho Traychev tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Frank Sachs came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Germany fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Frank Sachs couldn't finish the play. Denimir Bebin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frank Sachs, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cido Fernandez in the 83rd minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Frank Sachs recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Albin Holweck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from İlbey Denizalp in the 95th minute of play. Germany's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
