The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Bengt-Rune Glanselius's late challenge caught a Castanheiro SC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bengt-Rune Glanselius helped the player get up and apologised. Bengt-Rune Glanselius kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. If Magno Pereira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benedito Mineiro in the 42nd minute of play forced Juoksengi's goalkeeper Mats Jakobsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Juoksengi defense, Umberto Dionísio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mats Jakobsson. The Juoksengi fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mats Jakobsson should have stopped the shot.

Magno Pereira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Juoksengi's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Umberto Dionísio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Castanheiro SC's Umberto Dionísio got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kjell Persson hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. After 64 minutes, Benedito Mineiro made it 0-5 with a short kick to the right side. Juoksengi's Mats Jakobsson tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Umberto Dionísio got free with Mats Jakobsson in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Umberto Dionísio scored 0-6 in the 69th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mats Jakobsson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
