Nigel Need showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teofil Makarewicz in the 16th minute of the match. With a little luck, Galja Kraków's Marek Bartochowski got control of the ball when Danny Eising tried to sneak it across the goal line. The throw-in from Roch Klawke in the 43rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by SV Wissenkerke's Carel Drent. In the 45th match minute, SV Wissenkerke was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carel Drent to maneuver through the defense. Szymon Adamus missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 47 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Nigel Need right hand side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sebastian Hodyl was the one to do the kick off. In the 54thth minute of the game Szymon Adamus who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SV Wissenkerke's Nigel Need was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 61 minutes into the game, Danny Eising was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SV Wissenkerke's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Galja Kraków the free kick. The supporters of Galja Kraków booed when SV Wissenkerke was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frits van Loo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marek Bartochowski was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. SV Wissenkerke's Danny Eising got his second yellow card of the match in the 80th minute. After some careless play in the SV Wissenkerke defense, Sebastian Hodyl kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nigel Need. The SV Wissenkerke fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nigel Need should have stopped the shot. The SV Wissenkerke players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
