Jairo Fonseca made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Jairo Fonseca didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dalmacio Fernandez went, in the 9th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. After 17 minutes, Gerson Furlan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Clube Atlético Luziense and the CON-E-CO players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 17 played minutes Clube Atlético Luziense got a freekick which was hit by Gerson Furlan. Jairo Fonseca came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by CON-E-CO's Dalmacio Fernandez. But to his dismay, Dalmacio Fernandez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Merexildo Cebadilla kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Clube Atlético Luziense's Jairo Fonseca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xulio Balado in the 24th minute of play. In the 24th match minute, Clube Atlético Luziense was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Durval Luz to maneuver through the defense. Marcelino Chirghentino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Clube Atlético Luziense's Jairo Fonseca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dalmacio Fernandez in the 29th minute of play. 30 minutes into the game, Eurico Massa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Clube Atlético Luziense's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CON-E-CO the free kick. Eurico Massa kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Clube Atlético Luziense's zone, Generosb Prat stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jairo Fonseca came out of the goal and Generosb Prat tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 36th minute, Fabricio Masseda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dalmacio Fernandez in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jairo Fonseca prevented the ball from getting in the gole. CON-E-CO's attack was well implemented in the 43rd minute, but when Dalmacio Fernandez was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. In the 45th minute Garin Cañizares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jairo Fonseca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Geraldo de Sena to make the kick off. After 50 played minutes Clube Atlético Luziense got a freekick which was hit by Flavinho Luz. Jairo Fonseca acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 51st minute, took the ball on the long shot from Xulio Balado. Merexildo Cebadilla hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Clube Atlético Luziense's Jairo Fonseca proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Clube Atlético Luziense from getting a goal against them. CON-E-CO's Llin Venero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gerson Furlan in the 57th minute of play. CON-E-CO's Dalmacio Fernandez was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 68th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Clube Atlético Luziense made a substitution. Erasmo Toscano replaced Luís Fernando de Moraes. Jairo Fonseca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Garin Cañizares, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Garin Cañizares managed to get in a good position for a shot. CON-E-CO's supporters rose to their feet, but Garin Cañizares was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jairo Fonseca breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 78 minutes into the match, Clube Atlético Luziense's goalkeeper Jairo Fonseca had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fabricio Masseda. Dalmacio Fernandez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 83rd minute, Fabricio Masseda made a precise shot to the right of Jairo Fonseca. Clube Atlético Luziense's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-8. In the 87th minute Garin Cañizares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jairo Fonseca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Dalmacio Fernandez came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the CON-E-CO fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dalmacio Fernandez couldn't finish the play. CON-E-CO played a much better game than Clube Atlético Luziense and deserved their victory. The Clube Atlético Luziense players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
