In the 12th minute Jonathan Eriksson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedrinho Guimarães saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Stefan Lundin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Umberto Dionísio, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Pedrinho Guimarães made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vilhelm Sellberg in the 23rd minute. Stefan Lundin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Benedito Mineiro's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. Anísio Alagoano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stefan Lundin having to interfere. When Torsten Svensson came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the BK Tåfjutt fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Torsten Svensson couldn't finish the play. BK Tåfjutt's Stefan Lundin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Umberto Dionísio in the 30th minute of play. After some careless play in the BK Tåfjutt defense, Benedito Mineiro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Stefan Lundin. The BK Tåfjutt fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Stefan Lundin should have stopped the shot. Stefan Lundin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Umberto Dionísio, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. When Célio Vianna fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Castanheiro SC's protests and gave Célio Vianna a yellow card for diving instead. In the 45th minute, Célio Vianna hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Vilhelm Sellberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Umberto Dionísio to make the kick off. In the 51st minute, Anísio Alagoano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Stefan Lundin was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. During the 57th minute of the match Célio Vianna completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Célio Vianna a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A collision led to Castanheiro SC getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Célio Vianna hit a great ball. 60 minutes into the game, Magno Pereira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Castanheiro SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave BK Tåfjutt the free kick. In the 61st match minute, Castanheiro SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Magno Pereira to maneuver through the defense. Castanheiro SC made a substitution. Mauro Sarmento replaced Magno Pereira. Anísio Alagoano kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Arvin Lundblad charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arvin Lundblad the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 78th match minute, BK Tåfjutt was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arvin Lundblad to maneuver through the defense. Castanheiro SC made a substitution. Stefan Lundin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benedito Mineiro in the 88th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Torsten Svensson in the 95th minute of play forced Castanheiro SC's goalkeeper Pedrinho Guimarães to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Castanheiro SC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
