Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Henk Jonckers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. In the 4th minute Gustaaf Groeneveldt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henk Jonckers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Henk Jonckers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gustaaf Groeneveldt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henk Jonckers having to interfere. After a rather tough play, KV Schoonwater's Joachim Wiggers got a free kick in the 12th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Lars Meesters managed to get in a good position for a shot. Netherlands's supporters rose to their feet, but Lars Meesters was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Henk Jonckers breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Henk Jonckers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 16th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Netherlands's Wim Wilmes got a free kick in the 17th minute. In the 18th minute Gustaaf Groeneveldt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henk Jonckers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 23rd minute of play forced KV Schoonwater's goalkeeper Henk Jonckers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Henk Jonckers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wim Wilmes in the 26th minute of the match. 30 minutes into the match, KV Schoonwater's goal looked a bit too open when Wim Wilmes came free, but Henk Jonckers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Henk Jonckers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wim Wilmes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye KV Schoonwater's goalie prevented a goal. If Gijsbert ter Kruimer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 46th minute of play forced KV Schoonwater's goalkeeper Henk Jonckers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

In the 56th minute of the match Frederick Demeester shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Arnout Reekers showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Henk Jonckers was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Gijsbert ter Kruimer showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-1 in the 58 minute of play. Arnout Reekers came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by KV Schoonwater's Pino Van Hinnendaels. But to his dismay, Pino Van Hinnendaels quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. If Gustaaf Groeneveldt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 73rd minute Wim Wilmes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henk Jonckers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to KV Schoonwater getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Pino Van Hinnendaels hit a great ball. If Wim Wilmes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Henk Jonckers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 83rd minute of play. Arnout Reekers didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alek De Hondt went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. KV Schoonwater made a substitution. Robben Helssens replaced Sem Roekeloos. Henk Jonckers came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt. But to his dismay, Gustaaf Groeneveldt quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Netherlands were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
