Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Pino Van Hinnendaels started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Fodor Daniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alek De Hondt in the 7th minute of play. In the 7thth minute of the game Alek De Hondt who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hungary's Fodor Daniel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Major Barna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Pino Van Hinnendaels's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fodor Daniel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. With a little luck, Hungary's Fodor Daniel got control of the ball when Abel Van Den Wijngaert tried to sneak it across the goal line. Henk Jonckers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antal Valentin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Hungary's zone, Pino Van Hinnendaels stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fodor Daniel came out of the goal and Pino Van Hinnendaels tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Antal Valentin fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hungary's protests and gave Antal Valentin a yellow card for diving instead. In the 23rd minute, Antal Valentin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Major Barna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Henk Jonckers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Major Barna in the 29th minute of play forced KV Schoonwater's goalkeeper Henk Jonckers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 30th minute, Alek De Hondt left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The KV Schoonwater fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. After 40 minutes of play, Hungary's Major Barna made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Henk Jonckers was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, KV Schoonwater's Abel Van Den Wijngaert got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Pino Van Hinnendaels's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 45thth minute, Fodor Daniel skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alek De Hondt in the 48th minute of play forced Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Antal Valentin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Pino Van Hinnendaels fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fodor Daniel having to interfere. KV Schoonwater's Henk Jonckers proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save KV Schoonwater from getting a goal against them. 65 minutes into the game, Major Barna recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Henk Jonckers. Major Barna showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-2. After some careless play in the Hungary defense, Alek De Hondt kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fodor Daniel. The Hungary fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fodor Daniel should have stopped the shot. If Abel Van Den Wijngaert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Antal Valentin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Takacs Tibor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. KV Schoonwater made a substitution. Robben Helssens replaced Sem Roekeloos. If Major Barna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to KV Schoonwater getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Sven-Edvin Viklund hit a great ball.
